Chris Exindaris, General Manager
Chris is an experienced General and Finance Manager with over 20 years of experience in business management and accounting. He has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy. Chris has his eye on the bigger picture and keeps every aspect of the businesses running.
Jonathon “Jonno” Miller, Service Manager
Jonno is a qualified marine mechanic with 25 years of marine industry experience. His business, staff and time management skills ensure customers receive efficient and accurate repairs and servicing. Jonno is a factory trained technician for Yamaha, VOLVO and Mercruiser engines. He has a 12 Volt Electrical license and possesses a wealth of experience in running busy workshops. He is the super sleuth of boats with superior diagnostic skills and fault-finding abilities!
Jon Southall, Parts Manager
Jon is a highly experienced and accomplished Parts Manager and Interpreter with a background in heavy automotive parts companies such as Brown & Hurley, Maxi-parts and Hi-Way1 Trucks & Tractors. His passion for all things boating is our gain as he effectively now combines his professional skills with his personal passion for boats.
Gunther Toomla, Marine Mechanic
Gunther is an international addition to our team. He has gained extensive experience in marine mechanics and finetuned his marine industrial skills over 18 years working on boats in Europe. His background is in factory new builds and refits and combines his experience in inboard diesel and petrol skills along with outboard experience, servicing and looking after the return client’s request. Gunther’s attention to detail is an asset to us and the client.
Brendon Matzii, Marine Mechanic
Brendon brings 19 years of industry experience to the team. He has a broad range of diagnostic skills of both petrol and diesel engines. Brendan has come from a fast-paced workshop, where the owners trusted him to treat the business as his own. We do the same without hesitation!
Del Doree, Marine Mechanic
Del has come from an industrial background and has attended almost all of the Volvo Penta dealer training. He looks after our new Volvo diesel products which include the servicing and major repairs on the I.P.S units. Del’s quality of work is immaculate as apparent in his organisation, tidiness and attention to details.
David Lake, Marine Mechanic
David is our most experienced team member across all facets of the marine industry, David spends years at sea servicing anchor winches, generators, main engines, outboards and underwater plumbing. There is nothing David hasn’t seen or done. He has extensive knowledge of all diesel engine applications and propulsion units.
David is a world travelled and has had his own successful businesses overseas.
Jim Sideras, Marine Mechanic
Jim is a qualified marine mechanic with two decades of industry experience. His set of skills range from hands-on work in the workshop to management and sales. Jim has come from owning is own mechanical supply franchise and understands the importance of having the right servicing parts in stock and of ensuring the customer gets there boat back in a timely manner.
Kallum Payne – apprentice
Kallum is an apprentice at our workshop at the moment. He is a man of many talents and an unrivalled dedication to his chosen craft. While working at Seatech Marine, he has attained his Cert II in Marine Engineering, he is currently working towards his Cert III in Marine Engineering.
Our dedicated staff attend Volvo dealer training to freshen up their skills and to get hands-on with the new Volvo products at selected times of the year.
