So without further ado, please meet Jonathon “Jonno” Miller, our Service Manager.

Jonno has 24 years of experience in the industry and is a qualified marine mechanic. His love for boats and boating started at home with his parents and has lasted ever since. Now a dedicated family man with two sons, he proudly shares his passion for boats with his young family. And if not on the water, you can find Jonno practising martial arts with his sons, getting busy around the house or simply enjoying the wonderful outdoor lifestyle this part of the world has to offer. 

As a Service Manager at Seatech, Jonno does everything from booking the jobs, delegation of jobs to specialised staff, organising the third parties, following the job through its many processes, invoicing, and returning the boat to water. He is the man who keeps his eyes on the boat and the job from the very beginning until the end.

When asked what makes him good at what he does, it was Chris, the Business Manager at Seatech who answered. “[Jonno] takes pride in his work. He is a people person, energetic and has the ability to put himself in the customer’s shoes,” Chris described. A man who knows his trade, loves boats and can put himself in your shoes – what more can you ask for?

As a passionate boatie and a Gold Coaster, Jonno has his favourite spots and local’s tips for best boating around. He and his family swear by the sheltered waters of Wavebreak Island, visiting Couran Cove, Tipplers and the Broadwater. It is on these waters where you are likely to find him boating, paddle boarding and relaxing.
